Avantha Masters Latest

With half of the second rounds still to be completed, 37 players are within five shots of the lead.

Bad light forced an early close at the Avantha Masters with half the field still to complete their second rounds. Spaniard Rafael Cabrera-Bello is the clubhouse leader on -8 but the tournament is still wide open with the cut projected to be at level par.

Two of Asia’s best moved ominously into contention; Jeev Milkha Singh and Thongchai Jaidee are just one shot off the lead with holes still to play. Both head the betting as 9/2 joint favourites.

It was a steady day for our 300/1 golf tip Darren Beck. Having completed two rounds he is still bang in contention on -5.
