X Factor: Week 7 Tips
The final six is a classic point at which a big favourite can find themselves singing for survival.
With Stevi Ritchie hilariously now nothing longer than 2/7 (Ladbrokes) to be eliminated from X Factor on Sunday, the smart move looks to be predicting who will join him in the bottom two -and then be saved by the judges.
I’m surprised to see Lauren Platt at just 5/4 to find herself in a sing-off tonight and less surprised to see Stereo Kicks also in the mix at 2/1. However, this is the point when traditionally a really big name can end up in jeopardy - think eventual winner James Arthur in 2012.
With that in mind I like the look of Ben Haenow to be saved by the judges at 9/2 with Skybet. The van driver sang in the graveyard number two slot on Saturday night and received mixed reviews for his rendition of Whitney Houston’s ‘I will always love you.’
Ben may need to hope the judges have similarly enduring sentiment towards him come Sunday evening.
