Wolves Cut For Relegation

Bookmakers are not impressed by the promotion of Terry Connor and have shortened Wolves in the relegation betting market.

After describing the manager’s position as one ‘not for a novice’, chief executive Jez Moxey and his board have promoted Terry Connor to the role, despite having no management experience.

After interviewing several candidates, it appeared that Alan Curbishley was favoured for the position, with Connor’s name largely absent from newspaper back pages.

Ladbrokes, Skybet, Sportingbet and Paddy Power have all cut Wolves in their relegation markets, with Bet365 offering a best price 4/6 that they drop out of the Premier League this season.

William Hill go 50/1 that Terry Connor is the next Premier League manager to leave his post.
