The Welsh star picked up the ball inside his own half then sprinted 60 yards, through challenges, before firing past the keeper who could only watch as it flew past into the net.
That 10th league strike of the season means that the 23-year-old has already broken his previous best tally for the top flight, and over three months of the campaign remain. Only five men have now outscored Bale in the Premier League and he has nabbed 15 all together for club and country in 2012-13.

For the trip to the Hawthorns, Defoe is 7/4 (Coral) to score anytime despite his goal drought, Dempsey is 2/1 (PaddyPower) while Bale is the obvious value at 9/4 with StanJames.
With the Baggies winless in seven in all competitions, the last person they need to see right now is AVB’s flying winger. The former Southampton favourite also tends to thrive on the extra space he gets on the counter-attack away from home.
