United Out To 11/4

They might only be three points behind rivals Man City but United are now 11/4 (Boylesports) to win the Premier League, the biggest price they have been all season. The gap in the title race is not insurmountable but the manner of the defeats against Blackburn and Newcastle has forced the bookmakers to react. City are 1/2 (Paddy Power) for the title.

After a stuttering run Newcastle returned to their early season form and remain in 7th place, four points ahead of Stoke. A top four finish is rated unlikely at 80/1 (Bet365) but The Magpies are 11/10 (Boylesports) to end the season as the highest placed club outside of the ‘big 6’. Stoke are 10/3 (Bet365) with a resurgent Sunderland 9/1 (Bet365) having been 50/1 prior to Martin O’Neill taking over.
