Tottenham v Panathinaikos Tip
Spurs will have a spring in their step after three wins on the bounce. The Greeks travel poorly.
Tottenham will progress with either a win or a draw but given that Panathinaikos are such lousy travellers it will be disappointing if they don’t qualify with ease. AVB likes to field a pretty strong side in Europe and his boys are a best price 11/10 (Ladbrokes) to win with a clean sheet; something that should happen.
The Greeks have lost both of their other away games in Group J by a 3-0 scoreline, to Lazio and, more embarrassingly, Maribor. Spurs have no real need to go for the kill on Thursday so it may not be a thrashing but a clean sheet should be the least we expect. With Brad Friedel set for a recall between the sticks, there will be no shortage of incentive for the man who recently lost his number one status.
