Tottenham v Norwich Tip

The result is all-important. It would be no surprise to see Spurs protect a lead.

After a sticky run at the start of March, Tottenham have gone back to basics in their quest for a top four finish. The priority is not to concede, the free flowing football from early season a distant memory.

This pragmatic approach has seen Spurs concede just two goals in their last four games and this helps formulate our betting strategy. At 1/3 to beat Norwich there is no value in the outright market, however the bookmakers haven’t adjusted to the change in approach from Harry Redknapp.

A 1-0 home victory is third favourite in the betting at 17/2 (Bet365). If the match is close it would be no surprise to see Tottenham protect a lead; a likely scenario given that opponents Norwich have enjoyed a good season and have rarely been outclassed.

Backing a hard fought home victory at White Hart Lane is the value play in this game.
