Tottenham v Inter Milan Tip

The joint second highest scorer in the Europa League this season is attractively priced to score at the Lane.

So much has the stock of Tottenham risen in recent times while Inter’s has fallen that the Serie A club are way out at 4/1 (Bet365) to win in London. But one man could be a particular threat to the hosts on Thursday; Rodrigo Palacio has been a Europa League talisman for the Italians and he is worth a punt to score anytime at best odds of 3/1 with Bet365.

The Argentinian international has found the net seven times in eight European matches in 2012-13, including play-offs. The former Genoa striker scored twice in the Round of 32 first leg against Cluj and another brace away to Partisan in the group stages. Add to that, Palacio arrives at White Hart Lane having grabbed a further double in a 3-2 league victory over Catania on Sunday.

With Gareth Bale (5/4 PaddyPower) dominating the goalscorer betting for this one and Jermain Defoe (11/8 Skybet) and Emmanuel Adebayor (2/1 StanJames) both looking too short, the value comes with backing an Inter hotshot this time.
