Tottenham's Title Challenge Stamped Out

Wins for both Manchester City and United effectively turned the betting for the Premier League into a two-horse race.

The betting suggests it is a battle between the Manchester teams for the Premier League title. A last minute penalty saw Tottenham lose 3-2 at the Etihad and they are now 22/1 (Stan James) to win the league having been 11/1 at the start of the weekend.

Manchester United kept the pressure on neighbours City, with a valuable three points at the Emirates. The gap at the top of the table remains three points with United 12/5 (Skybet) and City 2/5 (Boylesports) to win the Premier League.

Chelsea were the only other team in the top seven to register any points at the weekend; a draw at Norwich giving them a five point cushion in fourth place. The Blues are 4/9 (Blue Square) for a top four finish with Arsenal 5/2 (Bet365) and Liverpool 4/1 (Bet365), both in danger of missing a Champions League spot.
