Tottenham Odds 2012-13

AVB has plenty to prove in England.

This could be a season of transition for Spurs as AVB begins his personal road to redemption in north London.

Best Title Odds: 33/1 (Bluesquare)

Value Bet: 7/1 (Skybet) - PL w/o Man City & Man Utd.

Just about kept pace with the two Manchester clubs till February last time and would have won this market easily were it not for a long slump in form. Will think they have the beating of a RVP-less Arsenal.

Summary:

It was a surprise to most when Redknapp was sacked after finishing fourth and now Andre Villas-Boas is charged with at least matching that feat. The good news is that Bale stays while Vertonghen and Sigurdsson could be handy additions. However, the combined loss of Redknapp, Modric and Adebayor could be huge.

Verdict:

Much depends on who else comes in before the transfer window slams shut. To say AVB is currently light up front is an understatement. It could be a worse campaign in terms of the league but the new boss knows what it takes to win the Europa League - a 14/1 shot with Bet365.
