Tevez 2/1 To Stay At City
The deal with Corinthians has fallen through, which means Carlos Tevez could be staying put this summer.
Corinthians have pulled out of a deal to sign Carlos Tevez saying there wasn’t enough time to complete before the Brazilian transfer window shuts at 0400 BST on Thursday.
There is hope the deal can be revived in January but that is unlikely to suit Manchester City or their captain. Bet365 go 2/1 that Tevez is still at City at the end of August.
These developments have brought Real Madrid back into the frame and he is 4/1 to head to the Bernabeu. Italian clubs Inter Milan and Juventus are both plausible destinations at 10/1.
With the possibility of Tevez staying, the move for Sergio Aguero is now in doubt. The Atletico Madrid striker is 1/4 to join City having been as short as 1/7 yesterday.
