Crouch scored a wonder goal against Man City

Two teams on hot form and another who will surely be too strong for beleaguered Wolves.

After seeing our 14/1 acca come in last week with an exciting late flurry of goals, we can view this 7/1 (Boylesports) treble with confidence.

First up I’m taking Stoke to defeat the whipping boys of the top flight - Wolves. It has so far proven to be a nightmare stint in charge of team affairs for the Molineux caretaker Terry Connor. A run of one point from seven fixtures has seen the Black Country outfit cut adrift at the bottom of the table, and with in-fighting continuing last week, when will the next victory come?

Surely not at the Britannia Stadium. Tony Pulis will be unhappy with his own side’s recent results but equally aware that they remain just five points behind seventh-placed Everton. In truth, the form looks worse than it really is for the Potters when you consider that they faced Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs and Man City in consecutive matches. And both those latter big guns were highly fortunate to escape with a point apiece. Put simply, the hosts should have too much ammunition for their visitors in crisis.

Next up I look to Bolton to extend their sequence of three straight Premier League wins which saw Owen Coyle named as manager of the month. Everyone at the club has really bonded together in the aftermath of Fabrice Muamba’s collapse, and his remarkable recovery has really lifted spirits.

The Trotters welcome a Fulham side to the Reebok who look like ideal visitors at this stage of the season. Martin Jol’s boys continue to look a pale imitation of their Craven Cottage best on most away days. A total of eight goals scored in 15 games on their travels is comfortably the worst in the division. This malaise on the road for Fulham is a problem that began well before the current boss arrived on the scene. A run of just five wins in 52 away matches is desperate.

Finally we dip down to the Championship to back another resurgent team that mirrors Bolton in many ways. Nott’m Forest know that victory at home to Bristol City later today will virtually ensure survival after a season predominantly spent fighting relegation. Again the omens are excellent for the hosts. Unbeaten in four, a 7-3 win at Elland Road and a 3-0 success last week at Selhurst Park suggest a corner has been well and truly turned. They will surely have too much about them against a Robins side who are winless in five.

Back Stoke, Bolton and Forest to win at best combined odds of 7/1 with Boylesports.
