Republic strong favourites in Nations Cup Betting
The Republic of Ireland are odds-on for Nations Cup glory after a 3-0 victory over Wales.
New Wales boss Gary Speed got off to a losing start, as his Wales side lost 3-0 to the Republic of Ireland in the opening game of the Carling Nations Cup.
Second half goals from Darron Gibson and Damien Duff were more than Ireland deserved in a match they dominated, with the gloss applied by a first rate free kick from Keith Fahey seven minutes from time.
As a result, Stan James have cut the Republic of Ireland to 4/6 to win the Nations Cup with Wales on the drift at 14/1 with Paddypower.
