Reading v Tottenham: Half time/Full time Tip

Reading stormed to promotion.

Until AVB gets himself established at Spurs and starts winning games, jitters will remain a problem.

Having conceded important goals at the end of every Premier League game so far, we can be sure Tottenham will be nervous if protecting a narrow advantage at the Madejski Stadium on Sunday.

With that in mind, the half-time/full-time market looks like a potential gold mine in this one with Spurs a remarkably long 16/1 (Skybet) shot to lead at the break but draw by the end.

AVB’s new charges conceded in the 80th minute at Newcastle on the opening weekend before stumbling twice back at White Hart Lane. First WBA equalised in the 90th minute before Norwich drew level in the 85th minute a week later.

For their own part, Reading were down at half-time in their only home game so far against Stoke, before drawing level in the last minute through an Adam Le Fondre penalty. Even against Chelsea they showed powers of recovery to come from behind to lead 2-1 until well into the second period.

The combination of Royals sprit and Tottenham self-doubt makes this an undeniably strong value bet for the televised clash.
