Wednesday Premier League Treble

I'm surprised Leicester and Villa aren't stronger favourites tonight given their excellent away records; we can back them along with Man Utd, with a price boost.

There have still been more away wins than home victories this season in the Premier League, so why not add three more to your coupon tonight? Leicester City, Aston Villa and Manchester Utd all rank in the top three in the away table - and the treble is a boosted 11/2 shot with PaddyPower.

Burnley v Leicester:

I’m a bigger defender of Burnley than most, but they don’t have the depth of some and will miss Ashley Barnes, Robbie Brady and Erik Pieters. They lost 4-0 at Spurs on Sunday, and this will be another toughie. The Foxes had another one of their bad home days themselves, but they have routinely bounced back from those with away victories in 2020-21. Crucially, Vardy should play.

Sheffield Utd v Aston Villa:

It’s mad to think that last season these teams were competing at opposite ends of the table. Chris Wilder has started to speak about life back in the Championship next season and it’s going to be tough to keep spirits up with hope all but extinguished. The Blades just can’t score goals, having failed to net in their past 3 while Villa have had 3 away clean sheets in a row.

Crystal Palace v Man Utd:

Palace have somehow taken 4pts from their last two matches despite being played off the park by Brighton and Fulham. Gary Cahill can’t keep throwing his body in front of endless shots indefinitely and against opponents with proven goalscorers, the outcome will be different here. Zaha is still out, while United arrive at Selhurst Park still unbeaten away in the league all season.
