Wagner Back In Tune
Despite their obvious limitations Huddersfield remain a team who have competed in most matches and have suffered from a combination of bad luck and a tougher than average set of opening fixtures. Fulham are in freefall.
Monday night’s game is now the battle of the bottom two sides in the Premier League and clearly both will be desperate for three points with one not worth much, even at this early stage.
Although Huddersfield begin the match in 20th they are the side looking more like a team and I’m backing them to win with both teams to score at best odds of 19/5 with Ladbrokes.
The Terriers have had an unfortunate habit of striking the woodwork at key moments of tight clashes and that’s just bad luck. Their spirit and support from the terraces remains first class as Wagner retains the full support of all after his heroics in keeping the side up against all odds in 2017-18.
Sadly, the same can’t be said of Jokanovic who is favourite to be next manager to leave his post following four alarmingly resounding defeats on the bounce in which 15 goals have been conceded by Fulham.
They scored twice at Cardiff but somewhat let in four against limited opponents. It could be a similar story here.
