Throwing in the Raul

Wolves could yet finish within 1pt of Chelsea and only a 96th minute Burnley goal ended the Molineux club's top four hopes prematurely.

There’s another big clash taking place at Stamford Bridge where Chelsea look to lock up a Champions League slot while Wolves target 6th spot, which would guarantee another campaign of Europa League football.

The bookies think the hosts are strong favourites - I’m less convinced - and the cats will be set amongst the pigeons if Raul Jimenez breaks the deadlock at best odds of 13/2 with Bet365.

The Mexican international has been pivotal to Wolves’s success this campaign and his 17 league goals only tell half the story. That tally rises to 26 once continental competition has been factored in.

Chelsea’s strikers are all shorter prices but individually that’s hard to countenance. Abraham has slowed down over the second half of the season while Giroud can’t even be certain to start.

One thing is for sure, Jimenez will fany his chances against a team who have conceded a whopping 54 league goals (ranking 13th), including 5 in midweek. Back him each-way with Bet365 and get paid out at 1/3rd odds if he nets later in the match instead.
