Southampton v Leicester Anytime Scorer: Danny Ings

Started season brightly averaging 6.6 shots per90 and has already opened his account for Southampton. High quality shot locations means he is under expected goals value, small sample size withstanding.

Danny Ings has endured a couple of horrific injury plagued seasons and deserves a change of luck at Southampton. The early indications for the 26-year-old are positive. In 123 minutes of game time he has managed 9 shots and one goal which should be enough to keep his place in the starting line-up against Leicester.

Ings is currently running at 6.59 shots per 90min, a huge shot volume and although we are working on a very limited sample size it is worth taking a view before the market corrects. All bar one of these shots has come from inside the area and are of good quality; Ings is actually running below his expected goals total.

With Charlie Austin undeservedly shorter in the market, Ings is a good bet to find the net at 11/5.
