Liverpool fans come to Anfield will expectations of a big win, and rightly so. But Mitrovic is still making a nuisance of himself every week and nearly gets as many shots away as Salah.
Fulham’s trip to Liverpool looks like a nightmare waiting to happen but I’ll still happily argue the case that Aleksandar Mitrovic is a bargain at best odds of 4/1 with Bet365 to score anytime.
Despite the Serbian being on a barren run, amazingly the 24-year-old is still just two goals off the pace in the Golden Boot race after getting off to a flyer. 5 goals from 11 Premier League appearances in a struggling side is highly commendable.
But the reason why we should expect the goals to come back soon for ‘Mitro’ is his high shot volume. He averages 3.7 attempts per game which ranks 3rd best in the league behind Aguero and Salah. He had 5 efforts against Huddersfield on Monday and it should just be a matter of time before he’s back amongst the goals.
How will Fulham defend at Anfield? Well that’s a different matter entirely.
