18th Oct 2019 | Championship

Saturday Acca

The Robins can count themselves unlucky to be as low as 6th following a 10-match unbeaten stretch but then again they're only 2pts off the top. We throw them in with Bournemouth and Wolves in our treble.

Saturday’s 3pm kick-offs in the Premier League should see a fair few home wins and we’re backing Bournemouth and Wolves to be among the happy hosts. Throw Bristol City in the mix at Luton in the Championship for a 7.64/1 treble with BetFred.

Bournemouth (h) to beat Norwich (8/11):

It’s surprising we get anywhere near evens money for the Cherries here given their proven credentials at Dean Court against better sides than Norwich. Unusually, Howe’s boys have taken more points on the road so far in 2019-20 but that’s an anomaly which we should expect to see corrected soon. The Canaries have lost the lot away from East Anglia - all by at least 2 goals.

Wolves (h) to beat Southampton: (17/20):

The slow start to Wolves’ season was all down to adjusting to the Europa League but Nuno Santo’s boys are flying now, epitomised by a 2-0 victory at the Etihad last time out. The international break probably came as a welcome rest so expect them to keep up the form against a Southampton side who have lost three on the bounce, conceding 9 goals in the process.

Bristol City (a) to beat Luton (17/10):

We’ve been fans of Bristol City for a couple of years and that’s hardly going to change right now with the Robins unbeaten in the Championship since the opening day - a run of 10 matches. Having won at Derby, Hull and Stoke in that sequence there’s little to fear at an average Luton outfit who haven’t beaten anyone higher than 14th in the table up till now.
