Saints March On

At the start of the season nobody could have dreamt that this would be a total mis-match but that might prove the case on Monday night.

Southampton are flying high, second in the table after five wins in a row across all competitions. Ronald Koeman’s boys have conceded six goals fewer than the next best defence (5) and they face a Villa side who have scored the fewest (also 5).

The hosts have only found the net once in their last seven outings and will still be without suspended talisman Benteke for this one. They also have an injury crisis in defence which the Saints are very capable of exploiting.

Southampton aren’t that tempting at 3/4 for the three points when we can improve our options to 7/4 (Skybet) that they win to nil.
