The stats speak for themselves. The Baggies have won both their Premier League games this season by that scoreline, making it 15 times out of the 31 victories the club have enjoyed since Pulis took over.

The former Stoke boss also has a standout record against his old club since leaving the Potteries (W5 D1 L0) and, you guessed it, four of those triumphs were of the 1-0 variety.

I wouldn’t put too much stock into Stoke’s hugely fortunate success over Arsenal last weekend. They have still failed to score in seven of their last nine top flight away outings.
