Premier League Saturday Treble

Sheffield United, Chelsea and Southampton don't appear to have much in common - but none appear to have a great deal to play for on Saturday. Chelsea still need points for top-four of course, but inevitably more focus will be on two upcoming finals.

PaddyPower may have the pick of the boosted accumulators on Saturday with 7/1 (up from 9/2) on Palace, Man City and Liverpool all winning.

Sheffield United v Crystal Palace:

The Eagles’ poor form needs some revision given their brutal run of recent fixtures. They have just faced Man Utd, Spurs, Everton, Chelsea, Leicester and Man City in a row, with only West Brom to soften the load. They won that one, and the Blades are clearly more in that ilk as they aim to avoid an unwanted record for fewest goals scored in a Premier League season.

Man City v Chelsea:

A dress rehearsal for the Champions League Final but more importantly for the hosts, a chance to wrap up the league title once and for all. Pep’s boys have been the best team by a distance and are on the cusp of a treble that would rival United’s 1999 one - although we’ll let others have that debate! Aguero has shown he is keen to leave on a bang, and he could be thrown another opportunity to grab a title-clinching goal.

Liverpool v Southampton:

The outgoing champions have already received a boost this weekend with Leicester dropping home points to Newcastle to revive top-four hopes. A win here is imperative, and highly likely, with the Reds having won their last three at home to Saints by a combined 10-0 scoreline. Danny Ings is missing for the visitors who just want the season to end.
