Rafa enjoyed the clash against his former employer on the last day of last season, winning 3-0. Much has changed for the visitors since, but the defence remains a worry.
Chelsea may be up and running with back-to-back victories but the outlook would have looked very different had Arsenal taken 1 or 2 more of their many presentable chances at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
As it was the Blues still conceded twice and the defence looks vulnerable as a new system is adapted to under new boss Sarri. Newcastle are overpriced at best odds of 9/2 to win at home on Sunday with BetVictor.
The Magpies have a phenomenal record at St James’s Park against Chelsea, having won 4 of the last 5 there in the top flight, drawing the other one. I would say historical matches don’t matter but it finished 3-0 to the hosts as recently as May!
Benitez knows what he’s doing and arguably his defence is better organised than the top-six fancied Londoners. Expect another great day for the Geordies at a generous price.
