No Longer Waiting For The Hammers To Fall

Pellegrini is conducting a quiet revolution at West Ham which sees them among the best teams in the league over the last 10 matches, across two seasons. Solskjaer still can't buy an away victory in the top flight.

On Sunday we can benefit from a misleading league table suggesting Manchester United are five places better than their hosts; in reality they have the same number of points and the immediate future arguably looks brighter for the Londoners.

West Ham should never be as long as 11/5 with BetFair to repeat their victory in this fixture last season, which ended 3-1. The Hammers are on fine form since mid-April (W5 D3 L1) with the only slip-up coming against the irrepressible Manchester City.

The Red Devils are certainly not a patch on their neighbours and their six winless away matches in a row (D3 L3) makes a mockery of their favouritism here. They must be opposed.
