We’’ve talked about it a few times on here but it does bear repeating. Everyone is acting like Mikel Arteta has transformed the fortunes of Arsenal, but the wins still aren’t coming very often at all.

Indeed, in the bread and butter of the Premier League, there have been just 2 victories since 6th October - a run of 17 matches. Yes, Arteta wasn’t responsible till 20th December, but only success at home to Manchester United has followed since then in 8 attempts. It’s been more of the same in the metric which matters most.

Newcastle are the next visitors to the Emirates and Steve Bruce’s boys might just fancy claiming another notable scalp at best odds of 8/1 with BetVictor. The Toon Army have already enjoyed success in 2019-20 over Chelsea, Man Utd and Spurs.
