League Table Deniers

Burnley are not being taken any more seriously by the bookies despite their rip-roaring first half of the season. We can win even if they narrowly lose.

The odds for this Boxing Day clash are bordering on insulting with one firm offering 19/1 on Burnley pulling off a shock away win. United have a wonderful home record, so I don’t think that will happen, but the odds are indicative of a side rooted to the bottom of the table -not one contesting the European spots!

The Clarets are well worth backing +2 goals in the handicap market at a best price of 13/10 with Bet365.

Sean Dyche’s side haven’t lost many times as it is, but they haven’t been beaten by more than one goal other than a trip to the Etihad in October. In other words, that’s 18 out of 19 fixtures where this would have been a winning bet.

United recently laboured to one goal victories against Bournemouth and West Brom and these opponents have proved themselves considerably better so far this season.
