Let’s make it clear from the start, we’re not saying this will happen, but the crucial point is that no Tony Pulis side should ever be 35/1 to win 1-0 at home. So let’s take that huge slice of value with BetVictor.

West Brom are actually unbeaten at home (W1 D3) and they give everyone a game. Even on the road at Arsenal the 2-0 defeat scoreline tells nothing of the hard luck story which denied them a notable result.

City have obviously been imperious but we’ve seen amazing starts to the season before, not least from them, and they rarely continue indefinitely. A bad result can come out of nowhere.  See Chelsea at Selhurst Park for a recent example or Man Utd at Huddersfield only last weekend.

If the Baggies are to spring a shock it’s even less likely to be a high scoring thriller so let’s double down on their traditionally favourite victory scoreline.
