Kane To Light The Fuse

Averaging 7 shots a games, far more than anybody else in the Premier League, and has scored a hat-trick in 5 of his last 22 games for Spurs.

On the surface this is one of our boldest tips so far this season but looking at the 2017 statistics, backing Harry Kane to score a hat-trick at best odds of 12/1 with Skybet isn’t so reckless.

Since 14th January, the England captain has scored 3 goals or more in a match 5 times in just 22 club appearances.

His victim list includes West Brom, Fulham, Stoke, Leicester and Hull. Despite their opening day heroics, Burnley fit very much into this level of opponent.

Doubters will point to the fact that the 24-year-old is yet to score a Premier League goal in August. This is just one of the quirks you get in football. Clearly there is no logical reason for that sequence to continue indefinitely!

Despite drawing two blanks in his first two games of this season, Kane has been thumping the woodwork and has a remarkable 7 shots per fixture. Far more than anyone else in the division.

It’s just a matter of time for the winner of the last two Golden Boots to get firing again. If he finds the net early against the Clarets, he could run riot.
