Liverpool have won their last three domestic away games by a combined 13-3 scoreline. And they played reputable teams: Man City, Southampton & Chelsea. A scary afternoon awaits the Toon.
Liverpool fans are loathe to admit it, but a wave of euphoria surrounding the impact of Jurgen Klopp has seen the Reds emerge as serious title contenders.
Yes they still have ground to make up, but the Merseysiders have impressed enough to go from 66/1 for the league on 20 November to nothing longer than 6/1 heading into Sunday’s showdown.
Klopp’s boys have actually been particularly mesmiric away from Anfield. Their last three domestic ventures on the road have ended:

Man City 1 Liverpool 4
Saints 1 Liverpool 6
With this in mind the 19/5 StanJames offer on Newcastle being beaten by three or more goals looks very appealing.
The Toon Army look beleaguered after a 3-0 home loss to Leicester was followed by a 5-1 thumping at Pardew’s Palace. If they do turn the corner, it surely wouldn’t be against such rampant visitors as Liverpool.
