Everton's new Italian boss has helped take Calvert-Lewin onto the next level. The 22-year-old has become a regular goalscorer in the top flight.

The stakes are unusually high for March at Goodison Park with Carlo Ancelotti transforming the Blue half of Merseyside into outside Champions League contenders. Manchester United are right in the mix, but start the day just five points above their hosts.

The Red Devils are in particularly good form but we’ve seen it before this season, and it hasn’t lasted. Before the reverse fixture United had just beaten City and Spurs, yet they could only draw 1-1 at home to Everton before capitulating at Watford.

I’d marginally favour the Toffees at home over Solskjaer’s boys on the road but the strongest angle looks like Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the First Goalscorer market at best odds of 6/1 with Bet365.

Ahead of him in the betting is Anthony Martial, but he is a big doubt for the game due to a muscle injury. Regardless, Calvert-Lewin is a strong contender following seven league goals in his last nine outings.

Back him each-way and get 1/3rd odds with Bet365 if he scores later in the match instead.
