Cherries Make Merry At Home

Bournemouth have somehow gone 15 months without a loss at home to teams outside of the unofficial big six. Wolves may be best of the rest, but they shouldn't be favourites on that basis.

There aren’t many teams with a bigger divergence between home and away performance than Bournemouth. In front of their own fans this weekend, they are worth backing at best odds of 19/10 with Betfred.

It takes a lot for me to turn against Wolves this season but one statistic has convinced me here. The Cherries haven’t lost at Dean Court to a team outside of the ‘big six’ since, remarkably, November 2017.

In their last two home outings Howe’s boys beat West Ham 2-0 and Chelsea 4-0, the latter without Callum Wilson, who is also missing tomorrow.

They’ve had a fortnight to hurt after a bad day at Anfield and I expect them to take it out on a Wolves team who haven’t always been consistent, for all their successes this season.
