Canny Rafa Returns
The Toon Army saw their side lead at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge and they recently finished the job at home to Man Utd. Liverpool may be on fire but their former boss may bring an extinguisher.
Liverpool are in imperious form but slip-ups do happen and the return of Rafa Benitez could produce one such occasion. He has drawn all 3 of his Premier League games against the Reds and 6/1 on it happening again is huge with Ladbrokes.
Rafa has made this Newcastle side impressively tough to beat in recent times. Indeed, Manchester City are the only team to overcome the Magpies in the league (twice) since 16 December. And Pep’s gladiators are on a different level!
The Reds like to think they are bridging the gap but they have still lost to Swansea in 2018 and dropped crucial points at Anfield earlier in the season to West Brom, Everton and Burnley.
Complacency could be a problem for Liverpool here. It finished 1-1 in the reverse fixture and something similar can’t be discounted on Saturday evening.
