Basel Faulty?

We now reach an interesting phase of the season when we see how Man City juggle Champions League football with their domestic ambitions. They're away to Basel on Tuesday.

The Manchester City procession goes on bar the odd dropped point here and there but it will be interesting to see if Pep Guardiola rests a few stars with the Champions League returning on Tuesday. A trip to Basel has more potential to ruin quadruple aspirations than any result against Leicester.

One man who could benefit from any lack of City focus is Jamie Vardy who is well priced at 11/4 to score anytime with Boylesports.

The England striker has netted in each of his last three league outings and has struck 22 times in 42 appearances against the ‘big six’ clubs. Nobody can match that total - he’s a big game player.

Vardy scored in the EFL Cup clash between these sides a couple of months ago and grabbed a hat-trick against City in December 2016.
