Arsenal Ready to Rule the North London Roost

I’m surprised when I hear some pundits currently putting both the north London giants in the same basket marked ‘hopeless.’ It certainly feels generous towards Spurs whose better recent results have been a little flattering with their poorer results looking fully deserved.

In contrast, Arsenal have improved quite clearly under Arteta, particularly if you excuse their first two outings after lockdown ended. That just looks like rust now given their run of four wins and a draw since. BetFair offer 17/10 on them winning the derby on Sunday and I’d take that.

Mourinho’s negative approach is already drawing criticism and the failure to register a single shot on target against lowly Bournemouth was a nadir. At least till now.
