Blackburn v Arsenal:

Mikel Arteta is 10/1 with Ladbrokes to be first goalscorer and convince some Gunners fans that he can fill Fabregas’s boots. Rovers are 18/5 to win their first game of the season with VictorChandler.

Aston Villa v Newcastle:

Shay Given played 463 games for Newcastle and he is 13/8 to keep a clean sheet against them with Bet365. Pardew’s side haven’t scored or conceded a first half goal yet this season. Coral offer 2/1 on 0-0 at the break again.

Bolton v Norwich:

The Trotters are 17/4 with StanJames to lose a club record fifth consecutive top flight game at home. Norwich have conceded a penalty in every league game so far; Bolton are 11/2 with Bet365 to score from the spot and keep that run going.

Everton v Wigan:

Tim Cahill hasn’t scored for the Toffees in 2011 but he is 11/2 with SkyBet to open the scoring on Saturday. Wigan haven’t won at Goodison Park since their first trip there in 2005; they are 7/1 with Victor to take the three points this time.

Swansea v West Brom:

The first two Premier League games at the Liberty Stadium ever have both ended 0-0. StanJames offer 9/1 on the hat-trick of goalless games being completed. The Baggies are 7/1 with Coral to beat a promoted team 1-0 for the second weekend running.

Wolves v QPR:

Matt Jarvis has recovered from injury and he’s 12/1 to open the scoring for Wolves with SkyBet. Jay Bothroyd is 9/1 in that same market as he lines up against his former team.

Tottenham v Liverpool:

Spurs have won 2-1 the last three times the Reds have visited White Hart Lane - the same again is 10/1 with Totesport. Liverpool haven’t won a league game in which they have trailed away from Anfield for two years. They are 28/1 with Bet365 to be losing at half-time but win this time.

Fulham v Man City:

The Cottagers are 11/2 with Bluesquare to win at home having excelled there in recent years. Sergio Aguero is 25/1 with SkyBet to score a second consecutive hat-trick, with Edin Dzeko at 33/1. That pair have 12 league goals between them this term, compared to 2 for the whole Fulham team.

Sunderland v Stoke:

None of the six top flight meetings between these two sides has ended with an away win; Stoke are 23/10 to end that sequence with VictorChandler. Nicklas Bendtner is 5/2 with SkyBet to open his account for the Black Cats.

Man Utd v Chelsea:

Wayne Rooney has eight league goals already - more than every team in the league apart from Man City! He is 5/1 with WilliamHill to open the scoring on Sunday. Unbeaten Chelsea aren’t used to being written off in September - the away win would cause a re-think at 18/5 with VictorChandler.
