Aaron Ramsey’s last minute winner capped a good week for the English teams in the Champions League
It was a good night for the London teams in the Champions League with both securing wins. Chelsea eased to a 5-0 victory at home to Genk and are now 10/1 (Bet365) in the outright market, edged in from 11/1. A brace for Fernando Torres has seen his odds cut to 28/1 (Bet365) from 40/1 to be the tournament’s top goalscorer.
A last minute winner for Aaron Ramsey means Arsenal top Group F and are 1/20 (Bet365) to qualify having been 1/5 before the match. In the outright betting they have been clipped into 33/1 (Bluesq) from 40/1.
With all four Premier League teams winning this week, an English winner of the Champions League is 13/5 with Paddy Power. Spain are still everyone’s favourites, but Sportingbet are the only firm to offer odds against with their quote of 21/20.
