A mutually satisfactory outcome would see the two big names in Group J share the spoils.
When two evenly matched sides meet and a draw would suit both parties I tend to think that’s the bet right there - a 12/5 shot with Betfred. It was a stalemate when Lazio and Tottenham clashed in London and there’s little reason to think it will be too different a couple of months on in the return.
The Italians top the group with eight points and it’s pretty hard to anticipate a scenario in which at least a couple of draws won’t see them through. They don’t need to bust a gut, and when a decent Serie A outfit is in that frame of mind, a low-scoring draw is often the outcome.
Spurs desperately need a response to their derby despair against Arsenal but they only got hammered because of the sending off. They will look to tighten up for their trip to Rome and with a home tie with Panathinaikos to come, a point here would surely suffice.
