Group D Crunch Clash May Not Find A Winner

Scotland entertain the Republic of Ireland on Friday evening in what could prove a decisive match en route to Euro 2016.

With Scotland missing key personnel for this crunch clash at Celtic Park on Friday, the most likely outcome looks like a feisty 1-1 draw, available at best odds of 6/1 with BetVictor. We can also get a refund with that firm if either side wins from behind.

The Tartan Army are favourites (7/5 WilliamHill), and would deserve to be so with home advantage, were it not for key injuries. But James McArthur joins Alan Hutton and Phil Bardsley on the sidelines and it’s debatable whether Gordon Starchan has the depth to cope and keep a clean sheet.

The Republic will be feeling just as confident as their hosts, if not more so, after a thrilling 1-1 draw was rescued in Germany courtesy of a 94th minute John O’Shea equaliser. Expect more of the same in a cauldron of an atmosphere.

*If either team wins from behind, BetVictor will refund losing correct score, first/last/anytime goalscorer, double chance, scorecast & spincast bets as free bets up to £10.
