Holloway's Men Get Out of Jail

Blackpool keep confounding expectation and are now 3/1 to be relegated after beating Spurs.

Having been as short as 5/4, Blackpool are now 3/1 to be relegated following a 3-1 win at home to Tottenham. The win propelled Ian Holloway’s side five places up the league and they now sit in twelfth spot, five points above the relegation zone.

In an industry that is famed for being a ‘results based business’ it is strange to see Blackburn priced at 12/1 to be relegated; even though they are on the same number of points as Blackpool. After everything Ian Holloway and his team have achieved this season the prejudices formed in August still apparently linger.

Qualifying for the Champions League for the second season in a row, isn’t quite the ‘miracle’ boss Harry Redknapp suggested before the match. But defeat has seen Spurs drift out to 6/4 with Bet365 for a top four finish.
