Wally's Wombles Can Tame The Lions

Millwall are slipping towards almost as much relegation peril at their hosts after 5 winless league games in a row. The FA Cup 5th Round is a welcome distraction all round and home advantage may make the difference.

There’s more than a decent chance of an FA Cup upset on Saturday when two of the giant-killers of Round 4 meet at Plough Lane.

Wimbledon are the lower division side but at best odds of 10/3 with BetFred, it’s just possible that the 1988 winners can advance to the quarter-finals again.

Home advantage is significant. I tipped Millwall to beat Everton off the back of that, but the Lions are far less ferocious on their travels. They’ve only won one Championship away match in all of 2018-19 and have lost their last 4 FA Cup ties on the road.

The Dons may be rock bottom of League One but they beat Walsall 1-0 in midweek to boost confidence heading into this one. That’s if putting 4 goals past West Ham didn’t do that anyway!
