Rovers Eye Quarter Finals

The upset on Saturday in the FA Cup could come at Ewood Park.

After a bruising 4-1 defeat to Manchester City on Wednesday, Stoke won’t arrive at Ewood Park with the same level of confidence they would otherwise have had.

Blackburn, on the other hand, have the tools to pull off an upset if their visitors drop below their best and are worth a look at best odds of 21/10 (BetVictor).

Jordan Rhodes has returned to form with goals in both of his last two home outings and he will probably be partnered with Rudy Gestede who earned a midweek rest but has 13 goals this term.

Rovers have won their last three on their own patch, including a 3-1 victory over top flight Swansea in the last round. Indeed, their home record in the Championship (W8 D4 L3) would make them automatic promotion candidates if taken in isolation.

The Potters may be starting to miss the injured Bojan and Mark Hughes can’t rely on Peter Crouch three times a week at the age of 34.
