FA Cup - Latest Odds

The top teams will fancy their chances in the FA Cup this weekend.

The usual suspects dominate the FA Cup winner market. It's hard to see where the value lies without looking at a couple of other Premier League sides quietly going about their business.

Unsurprisingly as the fifth round of the FA Cup beckons Man Utd are cemented as the bookies’ favourites. Being drawn at home to non-league opposition in the last 16 will have that effect when you top the Premier League. They are a best price of 11/4 with Victor Chandler. The same firm have Arsenal at 4/1 to lift the trophy and if they exit at the hands of Leyton Orient a few days after stunning Barcelona then, quite frankly, we should all give up predicting this game!

Man City and Chelsea are the other fancied sides despite being one round behind. Chelsea (5/1) will hope they have already done the hardest part in seeing off Everton now that they reconvene at Stamford Bridge, where they will also meet Reading if all goes to plan. Mancini’s high-rollers are 6/1 with totesport and will definitely expect to dismiss Notts County at Eastands to set up another home clash with Aston Villa in round five.

So what long shots could have a tilt at Wembley? Well, Birmingham have already booked their place there in the Carling Cup and are a 22/1 shot with William Hill to win the premier domestic cup competition. A home win against Sheffield Wednesday will see them into the quarter finals and if a kind draw follows then who knows what’s possible. Stoke are in a similar boat, facing Brighton at the Brittania Stadium. Always tough to beat and with no relegation battle anxieties likely, The Potters look to be the best value bet at 25/1 with Skybet to win the FA Cup.
