Celtic Reliant On Griffiths

Celtic have endured a rotten Europa League campaign but somehow their hopes of reaching the knock-out stages are still alive.

The match at home to Ajax falls into the ‘must win’ category and to do this they will probably need Leigh Griffiths to fire.

The Scotland striker already has 21 goals to his name in all competitions and his shot volume in the Europa League is good.

The 25-year-old has played all four games and is averaging 3 shots per90. Most importantly, these shots are coming from high scoring locations with 0.8 inside the six-yard box and a further 1.8 from the rest of the penalty area.

I expect Celtic to start strongly and Griffiths can open the scoring at 11/2 (Coral).
