Euro 2016 Tips: Team To Concede Most Goals - Czech Republic
Statistically the shakiest defence in qualifying is unlikely to stand up to three tough group games in France.
Of the 23 finalists who qualified (excluding hosts France), the team to concede the most goals by far was the Czech Republic with 14. The only other double figure conceder was Poland (10).
The worry for head coach Pavel Vrba would be that if his side let in three to minnows Kazakhstan over two matches, what will happen in Group D which contains Spain, Croatia and Turkey?
The Spanish are the defending champions and will always carry a goal threat while the Croats just warmed up with a 10-0 win, albeit against San Marino! But the likes of Modric, Rakitic and Mandzukic can cause a fragile defence nightmares.
Even Turkey won 2-0 in Prague last October despite qualifying behind the Czechs in qualifying. Friendly wins over Sweden and Austria in 2016 suggest the Turks also mean business.
