Summary:
Things looked dicey for the Swedes when they lost 4-1 to the Netherlands in one of the earlier qualifying games. A further defeat in Hungary left no further margin for error but a spot in the finals as best runners-up was secured with three straight wins at the end - including a decisive 3-2 revenge mission against the already qualified Dutch. Expect them to be well organised as ever.
Prediction:
Sweden shared the spoils with England in group clashes in both the World Cups of 2002 and 2006; a third consecutive draw between the nations in major tournaments is a 13/5 shot with bodog.
