Euro 2012: Latest Betting

Fletcher scored on Saturday

It's not just a big night for England and Wales. There are massive games for the Republic of Ireland and Scotland.

On Tuesday the Republic of Ireland and Scotland both face critical matches in their bid to reach the finals of Euro 2012 in Poland-Ukraine next summer.

The top two face a summit meeting in Group B where the ROI currently trail Russia by two points as they head to Moscow. The boys in green can now be picked up at a best price of 9/2 with WilliamHill to overtake their hosts by winning. Russia are 3/4 with VictorChandler, with the draw available at 13/5 with SkyBet. The bookies still think the Republic have every chance of making the finals - they are 13/8 with Bet365.

Scotland need to put the disappointment of their 2-2 draw with the Czech Republic behind them when they line-up against Lithuania in Glasgow. The hosts are just 4/7 with Boylesports to claim three points in this Group I clash. The two teams played out a 0-0 when they met in Eastern Europe and another draw is 3/1 with StanJames.

The visitors have already claimed a shock win in Prague and they are 11/2 with Coral to repeat the trick at Hampden. The Tartan Army need a minor miracle to qualify, trailing the Czechs by five points with a game in hand. Bet365 have noticed that an away trip to Spain is still an unwelcome part of that equation and they price Scotland at 14/1 accordingly.

Northern Ireland’s hopes were battered by a 1-0 defeat to Serbia at Windsor Park on Friday. That left them down in fifth spot, although Group C still seems competitive when looking beyond Italy. Nigel Worthington’s side are 21/10 with Coral to win in Estonia and keep the fight going.
