City In Pole Position
Manchester City are 1/2 (Ladbrokes) to win the title after moving to the top of the Premier League on goal difference.
The two Manchester teams switched places at the head of the Premier League betting with City 1/2 (Ladbrokes) to win the title having been 7/4 before the derby game.
United have gone in the opposite direction and are now 2/1 (Betfred) for the title having been 4/9 before the game.
Despite Roberto Mancini’s insistence, his team are favourites to win the league, although they do face an awkward trip to Newcastle on Sunday.
