City 13/8 To Retain Title
After one of the most dramatic climaxes to a Premier League season, the bookmakers are already looking forward to next year.
Many pundits are predicting this could be a watershed moment for Manchester City, a shift in power, the start of a dynasty. The bookmakers are taking a more cautious approach and make City 13/8 (Betfred) to retain their title.
We should remember Manchester Untied only lost on goal difference and are 11/4 (William Hill) to wrestle back the title.
Chelsea could only muster a 6th place finish in the league but a dramatic improvement is expected over the summer. Paddy Power make them 5/1 third favourites, skinny odds considering they face the same challenges as last summer.
The two North London clubs are next in the betting with Arsenal 12/1 (Paddy Power) and Tottenham 28/1 (Blue Square) to win the league.
