One Hull Of A Punt
Nigel Adkins won his first league game in charge of Hull City but none since in 7 attempts. The Tigers' heavy favouritism here is a mystery.
Two teams in dreadful form but it can’t be right that the side one point off the bottom are heavy favourites to beat the side in 8th. Leeds have to be picked up at best odds of 13/5 with Bet365.
The Yorkshire club may be as streaky as it gets in the Championship but they have won nearly three times as many league games (13) as their hosts (5), including a 1-0 victory in the reverse fixture at Elland Road in December.
Take out the FA Cup and Hull haven’t won a match in seven attempts and their last two defeats have come against relegation rivals Bolton and Sunderland. The Tigers haven’t beaten a side as high in the table as Leeds all season so why should they start now.
